Comfort Level: Luxury
Good For:Couple/Romantic, Family, Solo

Just a few kilometres from Livingstone, Zambia, and bordering the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, the beautiful Stanley Safari Lodge offers guests a tranquil and intimate getaway. The lodge is set on a hilltop just three kilometres from the iconic Victoria Falls, affording guests magnificent views across the park wilderness to the Zambezi River and the Smoke that Thunders. As the calmly flowing waters of the Zambezi plummet down the gorge of the Victoria Falls, the impact generates thunderous sounds and soaring mists, which can be seen from every room. Stanley Safari Lodge exudes the elegance of the colonial era, with an ambience reminiscent of the pioneering days of the intrepid explorers, Stanley and Livingstone.

The lodge provides sumptuous comfort for both those seeking adrenalin-rushing adventure, and those in search of rest and relaxation. With two members of staff per guest, personalised attentive service assures a memorable and superbly comfortable stay.

Stanley Safari Lodge offers ten rooms, each of which is unique and decorated using local materials. Four of the rooms are suites, with private plunge pools and secluded decks or terraces offering magnificent views of the wilderness and the mist of the Falls beyond. The suites incorporate a separate lounge area and en-suite bathroom with both a bath and shower. The lounges of the Stanley and Livingstone suites offer fireplaces for chilly winter evenings.

The Stanley suite offers an additional bedroom and bathroom, to accommodate children. The romantic Honeymoon suite has an open-sided design, and features an outdoor duo shower, fireplace, and a private wooden deck and lounge with spectacular views of the Smoke that Thunders. In addition, there are six luxury en-suite cottages, each with their own dining area, private garden and plunge pool. Five of the cottages have an open-design, affording guests views of the awe-inspiring Zambezi valley. The open-fronted Family Cottage, with a private child-friendly plunge pool, sleeps two adults and two children up to 12 years old.
